Tour Description / Itinerary
DAY 1 : AMBON ARRIVAL AND CITY TOUR
Upon arrival at Pattimura Airport, Ambon, you will be warmly welcomed by our English-speaking guide. Enjoy a city tour introducing Ambon’s historical and cultural highlights. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before transferring to the hotel for check-in and rest. Dinner will be provided at the hotel or a local restaurant.
DAY 2 : PINTU KOTA SIWALIMA MUSEUM - WAAI VILLAGE
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Pintu Kota Beach in Latuhalat, famous for its dramatic coral rock formation. Continue to Siwalima Museum to explore Maluku’s cultural and marine heritage collections. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in the city. In the afternoon, visit Liang Beach, known for its white sandy shoreline and clear waters. Stop at Waai Village to see the sacred eels in the river. On the way back, visit Natsepa Beach and enjoy the famous Natsepa rujak (fruit salad with peanut sauce). Dinner will be served at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.
DAY 3 : SOYA VILLAGE, HISTORY WAR CEMETERY HILA AND KAITETU
After breakfast, visit Soya Village to see the traditional Raja’s House and enjoy a short hike to the mountain viewpoint to admire the scenic landscape and the historic Holy Urn. Continue to the Commonwealth World War II Memorial (Ambon War Cemetery) in Tantui. Then proceed to Hila and Kaitetu Villages to visit the historic Wapauwe Mosque (one of the oldest mosques in Maluku), the site of the old colonial church in Hila, and Fort Amsterdam. Return to the hotel afterward. Lunch and dinner will be provided.
DAY 4 : SAPARUA ISLAND IHAMAHU VILLAGE & DUURSTEDE FORTRESS
After breakfast, transfer to Tulehu Harbor to catch the 09.00 AM regular boat to Saparua Island. Upon arrival at Haria Harbor, check in at Mahu Lodge. Visit Ihamahu Village to observe traditional sago processing. Continue to Fort Duurstede, a historic Dutch fortress overlooking the sea. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Ouw Village, well known for its traditional pottery craftsmanship. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5 : MAULANA / ITAWAKA ISLAND SSNORKELING
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day snorkeling trip around Maulana Island or the waters of Itawaka (snorkeling equipment can be rented at the lodge if needed). Explore vibrant coral reefs and tropical marine life. A lunch box will be provided. Return to the lodge in the afternoon. Dinner will be served at the lodge.
DAY 6 : DEPARTURE
After breakfast, take the 07.00 AM fast boat back to Ambon. Upon arrival, transfer directly to Pattimura Airport for afternoon flight to your next destination.
