Tour Description / Itinerary
DAY 1 : AMBON ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Pattimura Airport, Ambon, you will be warmly welcomed by our English-speaking guide. Enjoy a short city tour around Ambon, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest. Dinner will be served at the hotel or at a local restaurant. We highly recommended to arrive on Wednesday to match the Banda fast boat schedule on Thursday.
DAY 2: AMBON - BANDA NEIRA
Early morning check-out from the hotel and transfer to Tulehu Harbor to catch the fast boat to Banda Neira (departure at 09.00 AM, approximately 4 hours, with standard onboard lunch provided). Upon arrival in Banda Neira, you will be welcomed by a local English-speaking guide and transferred to a comfortable guesthouse. In the afternoon, explore Banda Neira by visiting the Banda Museum, Mini Palace (former VOC Governor’s residence), the Old Church, and the traditional market. Return to the guesthouse for rest and overnight stay.
DAY 3 : BANDA BESAR AND SNORKELING KARAKA ISLAND
After breakfast, cross to Banda Besar (Lonthoir Island) to explore the historic nutmeg plantations that once made Banda famous worldwide. Visit Hollandia Fort and the Old Sacred Well. Continue to Karaka Island (Karang Baru) for a full-day snorkeling experience in crystal-clear waters (snorkeling gear can be rented locally if needed). A lunch box will be provided on the island. Return to Banda Neira in the afternoon.
DAY 4 : EXPLORE AY ISLAND
Breakfast at the guesthouse. Today you will enjoy a full-day excursion to Ay Island, known for its historical sites and beautiful tropical scenery. Explore the island and its colonial remains. Lunch box will be served on the island. Return to Banda Neira in the afternoon. The Ay Island tour could be replaced with a hike to Banda Volcano for those who seeking adventure.
DAY 5: RETURN TO AMBON
After breakfast, transfer to the harbor to catch the 09.00 AM fast boat back to Ambon (approximately 4 hours, with standard onboard lunch provided). Upon arrival in Ambon, transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
DAY 6: AMBON DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Pattimura Airport for flight to your next destination.
